On this evenings' concert, July 12, 2008, The Blind Pilots had a little competition in the form of a pilot flying the Re/Max hot air balloon in conjunction with the chicken barbecue put on by The Rotary Club of Wells. All profits being donated to charity.

The Rotary Club has established a tradition with the chicken barbecue being held form 4 to 6 PM on the evening of second July concert.
